Job description

Nanowattz Technologies delivers real-time energy intelligence, monitoring, and management solutions for homes, utilities, and distributed renewable assets. We are looking for a Front-End Engineer to design and maintain clean, responsive web and cross-platform mobile interfaces that help users improve energy efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications for responsive web and cross-platform mobile (iOS & Android).

2. Translate Figma (or similar) designs into pixel-perfect UI components.

3. Integrate front-end services with REST APIs and real-time data streams.

4. Build and optimize dashboards, charts, and reports for energy usage data.

5. Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure performance.

6. Participate in code reviews and planning meetings.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Requirements:

1. 2–4 years of professional front-end or web development experience.

2. Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

3. Experience with a modern framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

4. Hands-on experience with REST APIs, state-management libraries, and Git.

5. Ability to implement designs from tools like Figma or Sketch while applying UI/UX best practices.

6. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

7. Excellent communication, teamwork, analytical, and organisational abilities.

8. Capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

9. Resilience under pressure.
