Overview

Reposebay is seeking a talented Scriptwriter/Story Writer to join their creative team for an original animated series project. This role focuses on developing the pilot episode and refining the series bible.

Main Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the creator and creative team to develop the pilot episode.

2. Refine and expand the series bible including character backstories, lore, and core themes.

3. Create engaging story arcs that support the long-term vision of the series.

4. Write and revise scripts using industry-standard formatting.

5. Develop authentic dialogue and memorable character interactions.

6. Structure episodes using proven storytelling techniques including the three-act structure.

7. Build compelling character arcs with consistent personalities, motivations, and emotional growth.

8. Contribute to story world development including culture, rules, and internal logic.

9. Help establish narrative systems like power structures, team dynamics, and world-building elements.

10. Participate in brainstorming sessions, creative reviews, and script revisions based on team feedback.

Ideal Candidate Requirements

1. Strong storytelling and scriptwriting skills.

2. Experience writing for animation, television, comics, or similar creative media.

3. Solid understanding of character-driven storytelling and narrative structure.

4. Ability to create engaging dialogue and emotionally impactful scenes.

5. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

6. Creative mindset with ability to contribute fresh ideas while working within an established vision.

7. Willingness to receive feedback and refine scripts throughout the development process.
