Job description

Administration, support, and maintenance of cybersecurity technology systems. Threat mitigation and incident response. Network and endpoint security oversight. Compliance enforcement and threat research. Vulnerability scanning and reporting. Data leak protection and user behavior analytics. Threat detection and forensic support. Documentation and management reporting.

Responsibilities:

1. Administer, support, and maintain cybersecurity technology systems including IDPS, proxy, DLP  

2. Perform threat mitigation, malicious code detection, response, and prevention  

3. Oversee operating systems security and local and wide area network security  

4. Enforce compliance requirements  

5. Research emerging threats and vulnerabilities for incident identification  

6. Conduct vulnerability and medical device IoT scanning and reporting  

7. Provide incident response support including containment and forensics analysis  

8. Review and report on data leak protection  

9. Manage user behavior analytics systems  

10. Conduct network monitoring and intrusion detection analysis  

11. Perform log-based and endpoint-based threat detection  

12. Correlate activity across endpoint, network, apps, and environments for anomalous patterns  

13. Review alerts and data from sensors and document technical incident reports  

14. Work with threat intelligence and threat-hunting resources  

15. Produce documentation and management reporting  

16. Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience  

17. Handle project multi-tasking  

18. Mentor junior staff  

19. Lead security team in assigned disciplines

Requirements:  

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field  

2. 3 to 5 years professional experience in information security program  

3. Experience with compliance regulations such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS or equivalent  

4. At least one relevant IT Security certification such as CISSP, CISA, Security+, CEH, GSEC
