We are a startup creative agency that produces high-performing AI-powered video advertisements for e-commerce brands across the health, fitness, skincare, and beauty industries. This is not a traditional editing role; you will be combining professional editing skills with AI-assisted production workflows to create engaging commercial video ads. While experience with AI tools is an advantage, it is not a requirement. We provide the AI tools, resources, and training required for the role. We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in editing, storytelling, pacing, and commercial video production.

Responsibilities:

1. Create high-performing video advertisements for e-commerce brands using AI-assisted production workflows.

2. Produce up to two video ads per working day while maintaining a high creative standard.

3. Edit projects using Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.

4. Accurately interpret and execute creative briefs.

5. Integrate AI-generated assets into edits.

6. Select and incorporate appropriate B-roll, music, sound effects, captions, and graphics.

7. Ensure all deliverables meet Orca Studios' creative and quality standards.

8. Deliver assigned projects within a 24-hour turnaround time.

9. Collaborate with the creative team and apply feedback efficiently.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 3 years of professional video editing experience.

2. Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.

3. Excellent understanding of storytelling, pacing, rhythm, and commercial editing.

4. Strong attention to detail, particularly with captions, timing, typography, and visual consistency.

5. Ability to accurately interpret and follow creative briefs.

6. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

7. Reliable computer, stable internet connection, and dependable power.

8. Experience with AI tools such as Kling, Veo, Runway, Higgsfield, Midjourney, Flux, ChatGPT, ElevenLabs, or similar platforms is an advantage, but not essential (training provided).
