Naijatutors Konnect is a fast growing online tutoring and EdTech organization that provides high quality virtual learning experiences to learners around the world. The company is expanding and building people centered systems to support its workforce and learners. The organization is looking for a proactive, organized and detail oriented Human Resources Assistant to support daily HR operations. This person will help improve employee experience, keep HR processes in order and ensure smooth workforce operations. It is a good fit for someone who is passionate about people operations, very professional, comfortable with technology and able to perform well in a fast paced remote environment.

Responsibilities:
- Support full recruitment cycle for tutors and admin staff including job posting, interview scheduling, candidate communication, onboarding and documentation
- Assist with onboarding and orientation to create a smooth experience for new hires
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR documents and databases while keeping information confidential and well organized
- Support attendance tracking, staff documentation, probation follow up and other HR admin tasks
- Assist with employee engagement, staff communication and culture building activities
- Coordinate and follow up on staff training, meetings, appraisals and performance reviews
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide timely and professional HR administrative support
- Support disciplinary, compliance and employee relations matters by keeping proper records and escalation documentation
- Help prepare HR reports, trackers and operational updates as requested by management
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and workplace standards
- Work with different teams to support workforce operations across multiple time zones
- Support the setup and continuous improvement of HR systems, workflows and digital processes
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, fairness and ethical practices in all HR activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or a related field, Master's degree is an added advantage
- Professional HR certification is required, such as CIPD UK, SHRM SCP or HRCI SPHR
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive HR experience
- Experience working in blue chip or multinational companies
- Experience in EdTech, e learning or digital first environments
- Experience managing remote and distributed teams across different time zones
- Proven experience supporting HR strategy and organizational development
- Proven experience implementing HR digital transformation and modern HR systems
- Strong knowledge of global labor laws, remote work compliance and HR technologies
