Training Summary:
This is Phase 8, but it's the first time it's female-only. MTN Foundation is targeting 3,000 women this time across just 6 states. Since 2018 they've trained over 15,362 entrepreneurs with partners like Google, Oracle, Meta, Microsoft etc, so it's not a fly-by-night grant. 438fb7ce

What makes it valuable isn't just the grant, it's the 5 weeks of blended learning + data support + masterclasses. Even if you don't make the top 100 for the ₦1M equipment grant, the digital skills alone are what most microbusinesses are missing. f607

Location: they are strict on it. Rivers, Abia, Ogun, Kwara, Kano, Gombe only. And your business must be under 2 years old.

Advice to Applicants:
If you are in one of the 6 eligible states and run a small business under 2 years, please apply. This is a genuine MTN Foundation programme with a proven track record.

3 quick tips to increase your chances:
1. Be specific about your business in the application - what you sell, where you operate, and what digital challenge you're facing.
2. Have a clear plan for the equipment grant. Don't just say "I need equipment" - say "This ₦1M will help me get a POS, deep freezer / industrial machine / laptop to do X and increase my income by Y."
3. Commit to the full 5 weeks. Attendance and your capstone project are what select the top 100.

Deadline is October 11, 2026. Don't wait till last day - portal gets congested. And please share with another young woman in business who needs this.
