This competition invites undergraduate law students across accredited Nigerian universities to examine the role of law in strengthening investor confidence and sustainable economic development in Nigeria, focusing on contemporary issues in banking, corporate governance and financial regulation. Hosted by Ohajionu, Chidera Daniel, it presents an opportunity to engage with an issue of national importance, sharpen legal writing and research skills, and contribute thoughtful ideas to the evolving discourse on law and economic development.

Requirements
1. Open to all undergraduate law students in accredited Nigerian universities.
2. Essay must be original and unpublished.
3. Word count: 1,500-2,200 words (excluding footnotes and bibliography).
4. Font: Garamond, Size 12; Line spacing: 1.5; Alignment: Justified.
5. Citation style: OSCOLA (latest edition).
6. Submission must be in PDF format only.
7. Essay must not contain your name or any identifying information (anonymous assessment).
8. Provide proof of studentship by attaching one of the following: Student ID Card, Admission Letter, or Course Registration Slip.
