Social Media Manager
Social Media Manager
Employer: Seatio
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Deadline: 26th August, 2026
Schedule: Full-time
Type: On-site
Description
Seatio is Nigeria's restaurant reservation and table management platform, built for the Nigerian and West African market. We operate a genuine two-sided marketplace connecting diners with restaurants across Lagos and, later, Abuja. Our platform features Naira-denominated pricing, Paystack and Flutterwave payments, and no-show deposit protection.
We are seeking a Social Media Manager to own our brand visibility and content strategy from the ground up. This role involves building our waitlist audience during the Pre-GTM phase, running the social component of the Founding Ambassador programme, and carrying that momentum through our public launch and beyond. You will define Seatio's voice, launch our channels, and turn early followers into the platform's first diners and advocates.
Benefits
· Opportunity to build a brand from zero in a growing market.
· Work with a dynamic founding team in a fast-paced environment.
· Play a key role in shaping the dining culture in Lagos.
Responsibilities
1. Own the channels: Establish and manage Seatio's presence across Instagram, TikTok, and other channels relevant to Lagos diners, consistent with the business plan's digital marketing focus.
2. Build the brand voice: Develop Seatio's social voice and visual identity in line with the navy-and-purple brand system, translating restaurant partnerships and product milestones into consistent content.
3. Run the content calendar: Plan and execute a content calendar spanning restaurant features, dining culture, behind-the-scenes platform build, and diner-facing education.
4. Grow the waitlist: Drive signups and engagement for the 8-week Pre-GTM waitlist campaign ahead of beta, working from the Pre-GTM strategy already defined for Seatio.
5. Activate Founding Ambassadors: Lead the social and content elements of the Founding Ambassador programme by recruiting, briefing, and coordinating ambassadors to extend Seatio's reach organically.
6. Showcase restaurant partners: Feature Seatio's confirmed Phase 1 restaurant partners as they come onboard, building anticipation restaurant-by-restaurant.
7. Support acquisition campaigns: Turn the business plan's user acquisition tactics into scroll-stopping social content and campaigns.
8. Champion the rewards programme: Own the storytelling around Seatio's rewards programme, a diner-loyalty mechanism that serves as a genuine content differentiator.
9. Report on growth: Track follower growth, engagement, waitlist conversion, and post-launch app installs and bookings driven by social, reporting these against Pre-GTM and GTM milestones.
10. Partner with restaurant success: Coordinate with the restaurant partnerships team to source content from Phase 1 prospects across Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Lekki, and Ikeja GRA.
11. Align with growth marketing: Align messaging with the Founding Ambassador programme, referral mechanics, and paid channels so organic and paid efforts reinforce each other.
Requirements
1. 2–4+ years managing brand social channels, ideally for a consumer app, marketplace, hospitality, or lifestyle brand in Nigeria.
2. Deep familiarity with Lagos dining culture, Instagram and TikTok trends, and what makes local audiences engage and share.
3. Track record building a channel or community from zero.
4. Comfortable shooting and editing short-form video and photo content on location at restaurants, with an eye for food, ambiance, and storytelling.
5. Able to translate business goals into a content and campaign plan, and report on what is working.
6. Confident coordinating with restaurant partners, ambassadors, and the founding team in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.
