Location: Plot 13 Hunponu Wusu Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Salary: ₦200,000 to ₦250,000 depending on experience

Schedule:
Three days per week in-office, scheduled around business activity such as shoot days, store days, pop-ups, launches and events. Type: Part-time, three days per week in-office with occasional weekend work

Description
Tassel Planner is seeking a Content Creator and Social Media Manager to lead visual storytelling across Instagram and TikTok. The role is focused on making people want the company's products and converting that desire into sales, walk-ins and bookings.

Tassel Planner's products are premium and considered, and people do not buy them on impulse. They buy them because of the craft, the detail and the storytelling behind them. You will be responsible for building that storytelling. You will shoot and edit your own photo and video content, maintain a consistent visual identity that is clean, calm and intentional, and capture content at pop-ups, launches, workshops and in-store.

You will also support new product launches with full content sequences, produce and iterate ad creative for Meta campaigns, and report weekly on what drove saves, shares, enquiries and sales. You will recommend what to double down on and what to drop. You will supply product imagery for the online store and visual assets for newsletters and campaigns. Newsletter writing, website copy and customer outreach sit with the retail and marketing team, not with you.

Benefits:

1. Pay of ₦200,000 to ₦250,000 depending on your experience.
2. A three-month probation review.
3. A performance and salary review at six months.
4. Full details shared at interview.
5. Flexibility to manage your own time outside scheduled in-office days.
6. No exclusivity requirement, so you can work with other clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Shoot and edit photo and video content yourself.
2. Maintain a consistent visual identity that is clean, calm and intentional.
3. Capture content at pop-ups, launches, workshops and in-store.
4. Support new product launches with full content sequences.
5. Deliver the agreed weekly content slate.
6. Write captions in brand voice.
7. Respond to comments and to content-related DMs.
8. Pass all sales enquiries, order questions and customer service issues to the retail team promptly.
9. Maintain a two-week rolling content calendar.
10. Produce and iterate ad creative for Meta campaigns.
11. Report weekly on what drove saves, shares, enquiries and sales.
12. Recommend what to double down on and what to drop.
13. Supply product imagery for the online store.
14. Supply visual assets for newsletters and campaigns.
15. Deliver five feed posts per week in total, of which at least three are video in the form of Reels or TikToks and at least one is a carousel.
16. Post stories daily, five to seven frames.
17. Produce one piece of ad creative per week.
18. Hold one dedicated shoot day per week.

Requirements:

1. You must have a strong portfolio of self-shot, self-edited photo and video.
2. You must be confident with CapCut or Premiere, Lightroom and Canva.
3. You must be familiar with Meta Ads Manager creative requirements.
4. You must have an eye for lifestyle, faith and premium aesthetics.
5. You must be reliable and proactive, the person who shows up with a camera and comes back with something good.
6. This role is not for you if you measure your work in post count rather than results.
7. This role is not for you if you need constant creative direction.
8. This role is not for you if you are uncomfortable at in-person events or working in-store.
9. This role is not for you if you outsource your shooting or editing.

· Self-shot and self-edited photo and video production
· CapCut or Premiere

How To Apply
Apply for this role through the application process provided by Tassel Planner below.

Why Apply
This role gives you a rare combination of creative freedom and commercial accountability. Tassel Planner is not asking you to fill a grid for the sake of it. The company wants content that drives saves, shares, enquiries and sales, and it gives you the room to test, iterate and recommend what to drop. That is a strong fit if you want your creative work measured by impact rather than volume.

The no-exclusivity clause is also a genuine advantage, since it lets you keep other clients while still being fully present on scheduled days. The weekly deliverables are clearly defined, with five feed posts, at least three videos, at least one carousel, daily stories, one ad creative and one dedicated shoot day, so you will know exactly what success looks like each week.

The main things to weigh are the in-person demands, including store days, pop-ups and weekend events, and the fact that you must shoot and edit everything yourself. If you prefer working remotely or outsourcing production, this role will not suit you.

Before You Apply
Build or refresh a portfolio that shows self-shot, self-edited photo and video, because Tassel Planner will judge you on that first. Pick work that demonstrates a clean, calm and premium aesthetic, and include at least one example of ad creative if you have it, since Meta Ads Manager familiarity is a stated requirement.

Be ready to explain how you would measure whether a post worked, not just how it looked, because the company explicitly does not want someone who measures work in post count. Think about your schedule honestly. Three in-office days per week plus occasional weekend events is a real commitment even without exclusivity, so make sure you can be fully present on scheduled days.

Finally, prepare a short content idea or two for Tassel Planner's product range, such as journals, bookmarks and personalised items, to show you understand how to turn craft and detail into storytelling that sells.
