Responsibilities & Requirements
Key Responsibilities
1. Attend to customers' enquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
2. Provide support with account opening, account maintenance, and other account-related services.
3. Process customer transactions and service requests accurately in line with approved procedures.
4. Verify customer documentation and ensure compliance with KYC and other regulatory requirements.
5. Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
6. Educate customers on the bank's products, services, digital channels, and available solutions.
7. Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions and service requests.
8. Support branch operations by ensuring efficient delivery of customer service and timely resolution of issues.
9. Identify opportunities to cross-sell relevant banking products and services based on customers' needs.
10. Ensure strict adherence to the bank's operational, risk, compliance, and security policies.
11. Maintain confidentiality and safeguard customer information at all times.
Requirements & Qualifications
· Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or HND in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
· 1–3 years' experience in customer service, banking operations, front-desk services, or a related role.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer relationship management skills.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to handle customer requests accurately.
· Good problem-solving and complaint-resolution skills.
· High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet service delivery targets.
· Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple customer requests efficiently.
